BVI Still Closed to Day Charter Operations
Updated: Jul 2, 2022
We are hoping that things will change soon for US Charter Boats...there are a few options available for those wanting to visit.

Long story short, the BVI's are still closed to U.S. charter vessels...for the most part anyway. There is currently one company that we know of that is offering day trips to Jost Van Dyke and surrounding islands; however, the price for that trip is about twice what a normal charter costs. While the residents and business owners of BVI miss us, the government regulations have made it increasingly difficult for U.S. vessels to operate in their waters. It has been over 2 years since the borders were effectively closed to our local visitors and while private trips are a possibility, our easy days of hopping over and grabbing a painkiller or snorkeling the Indians are still almost too close to touch. We are hoping that this changes within the start of the next season and will be offering trips back as soon as we can!
